As your retirement plan partner, we help you implement a prudent process for managing your responsibilities as a plan fiduciary.

Fund Scoring, Ranking, and Monitoring

We offer both ERISA 3(38) “Do it for me” and ERISA 3(21) “Help me do it” fiduciary investment services. Each quarter, we score the funds against their respective peer group, primarily across performance and risk-based metrics. If a fund starts scoring below 70, we call the fund’s management team to inquire for further specifics and then make a recommendation (or use discretion) to replace or keep it on our watch list.

Vendor/Provider Benchmarking & Monitoring

A retirement plan has various providers, such as the recordkeeper, the advisor, the TPA, and the custodian. We help employers evaluate their provider's services and fees compared to other's, to help make prudent decisions on which provider may be well suited for their plan’s specific needs.

Retirement Plan Design

There is no one-size-fits-all solution when building a retirement plan. Mainstreet RIA LLC takes an active role in plan design recommendations, helping you develop a benefit plan that incorporates the most recent legislative changes.

Ongoing Support

On a year-round basis, we identify the goals and objectives of your company’s retirement plan and outline any potential enhancements, such as potential plan amendment considerations, new provider services available, legislative updates, and recordkeeper reporting. We work with you to ensure your company and employees get the most out of your plan.

Annual Planning

Each year, we stand ready to help employers review their service provider contracts, recordkeeping reports, and participant demographic data. We feel it is important to have an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) that spells out how the plan is managed and which parties are involved. If you do not currently have an IPS, we can assist you with this effort.

Quarterly Reporting & Communication

We provide a comprehensive quarterly fund monitoring report and other important communications. We apply custom screening criteria to funds to identify pass/fail status and compare them each quarter to their respective peer group.
